Queen of Cascayde
Hello and welcome back to my blog!
The
worldwide disruption of COVID-19 has reinforced concerns about environmental
impacts. As a society familiar with the current climate crisis not to mention a
global pandemic, we must ensure that lessons are learnt changing our future for
the better.
One
quarantine queen and a close friend of mine, Carly McKinlay founded Cascayde. A
business established with the aim of sourcing beautiful products, all of which
have a positive impact in local communities and on our planet as a whole. With
intent to source environmentally friendly materials, support entrepreneurs and small-scale
organisations who provide jobs for women, Cascayde resembles exactly what this
planet is in need of.
Cascayde’s
range of socially conscious gifts, from partners with interesting designs and
unique stories, are products I have fallen in love with over quarantine. As we
can all relate to the complexities forced upon us by wearing masks, for example
the unsociable atmosphere they create. Cascayde solved these issues by enhanced
the experience of wearing face coverings through their beautiful and refreshing
designs.
Alongside face coverings Cascayde sells a range of bags including coin bags, laptop & iPad bags, makeup bags, toiletry bags, pencil cases and travel accessories. All of which have been made by one of Cascayde’s partners located in Bail.
Products
will range from shampoo bars to eco gift sets all wrapped beautifully in
sustainable packaging. Cascayde is currently searching for the perfect retail
space although be sure to keep an eye out for the launch of new branding and
product lines in the next month!

With love
